Well, after much playing about, I've finally got a semi-workable "guildbank" setup for Lucre. His current contents can be found at:
There's a mix of low- and high-level stuff, and lots of recipies (most of Buliwyf's recipe collection. He thinks cooking isn't an appropriate occupation for a Paladin and leaves it to Andromache and Maniere) so if anyone wants any of the items, holler and he'll drop things in the mail. In exchange, however, if you have goodies you think that'd be useful to others in the guild then send them to Lucre and he'll and them to the collection (he's still got bank-space left!).
In addition, young master L currently holds 100 gold of guild funds that can be drawn upon for loans in times of need (horse-buying, etc) if it can't be funded via guildees. Your horse may be in danger of repossession if you fail to keep up repayments]] Obviously this fund is a little restricted so any donations are welcome, either in exchange for items drawn from the bank or from the goodness of your hearts.

Kezzle could make excellent use of the Ember Wand of Shadow Wrath, I think, if no one else has baggsied it.
